Every rooftop in Hoi An carries its own distinct charm. Some invite you to unwind with a cup of coffee or a refreshing cocktail, while others are perfect for snapping those picture-perfect, Instagram-worthy shots. What makes them even more special is the town’s commitment to preserving its heritage — a regulation that limits building heights to maintain the old town’s harmony.
Faifo Coffee is one of Hoi An’s most talked-about cafés, often topping travel lists and Instagram feeds. Located right in the heart of the old town, it offers a stunning rooftop view overlooking the terracotta rooftops and lively streets below — especially magical at sunset. The atmosphere is charming if you arrive early in the morning before the crowds, but it quickly becomes hectic as visitors flock in for photos.
Many people come just to take pictures, leaving little space for those who genuinely want to enjoy a drink. The coconut coffee is pleasant but not outstanding, and the prices are quite steep for the quality. Still, if your goal is to capture Hoi An’s skyline in all its glory, Faifo Coffee is the spot to go — just don’t expect the city’s best brew or the calmest setting.
Nestled along Tran Phu Street, Me Hoi An has quickly become one of my favorite places to unwind with an evening cocktail. Climbing the wooden staircase to the rooftop reveals a panoramic view of Hoi An’s charming skyline — where the terracotta rooftops glow under the setting sun. You won’t need a drone here; the view alone feels cinematic.

On my first visit, I tried their coconut iced coffee — smooth, subtly sweet, and perfectly refreshing for a hot day. The second time, I came back for cocktails, and it exceeded every expectation. Nicolas, the manager, recommended his signature creation, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” — and it truly lived up to its name. Balanced, vibrant, and full of flavor, it wasn’t just a drink — it was an experience that captured the warmth and creativity of Hoi An itself.
Tucked away on a quiet street in the old town, Memories Brunch & Café is a serene escape from Hoi An’s bustling crowds. Its rooftop terrace offers a breathtaking view of the ancient town, especially at sunset when golden light bathes the rooftops. The atmosphere is calm and inviting — perfect for savoring a smooth cup of coffee, a fresh avocado toast, or their standout chocolate croissant that rivals even French bakeries.
The manager, who speaks French, and the friendly staff ensure every guest feels at home. Whether you’re stopping by for brunch, a quiet drink, or simply to unwind while admiring the view, Memories Brunch & Café is a peaceful retreat worth adding to your Hoi An itinerary.
Spread across four floors, 92 Station offers one of the most breathtaking rooftop views in Hoi An. The climb may take a little effort, but it’s well worth it — once at the top, you’re rewarded with a panoramic scene of terracotta rooftops, lively streets, and golden sunsets that feel straight out of a painting.

While the drinks, like the coconut iced coffee or egg coffee, are average and slightly overpriced, the real draw here is the atmosphere. Come for the view, stay for the moment — whether you’re snapping photos, relaxing in the afternoon breeze, or simply taking in the beauty of Hoi An from above, 92 Station is a stop you won’t regret.
Perched atop the Royal Hotel, The Deck offers one of the most stunning panoramic views in Hoi An. Sitting on the 9th floor, it’s among the few places where you can admire the city’s skyline and winding canals from above while enjoying a beautifully crafted cocktail. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegance and relaxation — ideal for unwinding and watching the sun dip below the horizon after a long day exploring the ancient town.
While the cocktails are slightly pricier than at local bars, they’re well worth it. I tried the Golden Spice and Hoi An Street — both exquisite in flavor and presentation. The happy hour’s 1+1 offer makes the experience even sweeter. What truly sets The Deck apart, though, is its exceptional service.
